I have been an insulin resistant Type 1 diabetic for 28 years. I am a mother to two wonderful teenagers and need a trained medical dog called a Diabetic Alert Dog.  A D.A.D. will help by alerting me to my highs and lows as I no longer feel them until they are at dangerous levels. Diabetes has caused many medical issues for me including neuropathy, retinopathy and kidney damage. Please help me raise the funds I need to receive this dog.
