I am Kartier Conway long time community activist, entertainer and father of Paterson shooting victim Ocean Conway.
Ocean whose name means everlasting is a responsible kind, intelligent, caring, brother son and grandson. Who turned 16 years old a couple of months ago.
While on the phone with his grandmother Thursday night he was caught in the crossfire of gunshots and shot in the head.
He is currently fighting for his life! Myself, his mother and immediate family have been by his side every day.
Unfortunately, life doesn't stop when a horrific tragedy such as this occurs and we are raising money to cover all expenses related to this tragic event . Such as missed pay from work, medical expenses on going and future treatments and caring for Ocean.
