Last night Karter’s lung collapsed and his body is slowly declining. I’ve made the most hardest choice I’ve ever had to make.. I’m deciding to withdraw life sustaining measures on my son and I’m deciding to donate a few of his organs to possibly save some other children’s lives. I did not come to this decision lightly. My heart is heavy and I honestly don’t know how I’m going to live in a world where my son isn’t physically with me. Gift of life is doing an honorary walk through the hospital floor tomorrow around 3pm. If you would like to be apart of my son’s final moments you are more than welcome to come and participate. Please understand if I don’t respond to any messages or calls. 12/27/2023 Today is the day I say goodbye to my son. I’m deciding to donate a few of his organs to save some other children’s lives. Due to Karter being so sick I was never able to purchase a life insurance plan for him. And I’ve been out of work taking care of him during this time so I wasn’t able to purchase a plan through an employer. Any amount helps go towards his funeral and memorial service. Once I have a funeral home you can also make a donation directly to the funeral home as well.
Thank you everyone in my families time of need. I’ve never thought I would have to bury my 4 year old son. This is a pain and heartbreak I can’t even fathom…
