Karson Whitesell Memorial Fund
Donation protected
Karson Bailey Whitesell was a 19 year old young lady shot and killed in a random act of violence on January 23, 2018 while working at the Peach Stand in Fort Mill, SC. Karson was a bright light with a beautiful spirit that was taken from this world far too soon. She had a servant's heart and a love for children. She was also a talented artist. Last year, Karson spent two months in Africa doing mission work to help those less fortunate. As part of her mission trip, she raised money to provide a permanent shade stucture for a community in Southern Swaziland. These structions are used as "care points" to provide respite from the scorching sun, a meal each day and discipleship for up to 140 children. Karson and her team were able to raise enough funds to provide one such structure. As a lasting legacy for Karson's passion for helping others, we are trying to raise enough money for 19 of these shelters, one for each year of her far too short life. Rest In Peace, sweet Karson. May the work you began never end.
