Karson Bartz Medical Expenses

We are raising funds for Tracy Bartz and her son, Karson Bartz.

Karson’s appendix ruptured in October, requiring emergency surgery. He subsequently developed abdominal abscesses (infection) which caused his Chrohn’s to flare. In the last two months, Karson has had multiple hospitalizations at Wausau, Marshfield, Mayo Clinic and NYU Langone in Manhattan to treat the abscesses/infection and malnutrition due to Chrohn’s. He is unable to receive treatment for his Chrohn’s until the infection is completely resolved. He currently requires a high level of specialized care to treat the infections and TPN therapy to provide nutrition. Both Karson and his mom, Tracy, have been unable to work during the past two months because of Karson’s illness and required care. It is anticipated that he will need further surgeries and follow up care at NYU Langone Hospital. 

The Tomahawk community has always rallied behind its own, and here is another opportunity to show love for Tracy and her son, Karson.
