I am starting GoFundMe for Karrah Teruya who is a coworker of mine who I had the honor of hiring four years ago when she stated, "I want to build a wine culture in Ft Wayne." Not only has she accomplished that she has made an impact in the entire wine industry with her work ethic, wine knowledge and endless pursuit of greatness. I had no idea Karrah would also impact my life in such a profound way. 

She is a wife to her loving husband Micah, sister, daughter, friend and most importantly a shining human and spirit that instantly makes an impression on everyone's life she touches. Karrah attacks life with a passion and enthusiasm that is second to none, with a smile and laugh that will brighten any dark day. 

That dark day is today and she needs your help. Karrah battled Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia  (ALL) in 2018. She won that first round and for the last year in a half was living life with a enthusiasm and intensity people dream of, unfortunately late last week that cancer returned. Although the odds are stacked against her, if there is anyone in this World that will beat those odds, IT will be Karrah. She will begin her second battle with this aggressive cancer this Wednesday at University Hospital in Indianapolis. Although the length of her stay is unknown she will be hospitalized for at least a month. 

Your donations will go towards medical expenses, (treatment, prescription, etc) travel expenses as her family travels between Syracuse and Indianapolis. After these costs are covered I plan on donating the remaining balance in Karrah's name to American Cancer Society towards helping others with leukemia.
