Donate in memory of Karra Srinivas

Dear friends in the music and broader community,

Talented mridangist, Karra Srinivas, met with a tragic accident and passed away on 24th March, 2023. He was a disciple of Guru Karaikudi Mani and was an ‘A’ Grade Artist of All India Radio. He has left an indelible mark in the hearts and minds of innumerable artists and art lovers alike with his wonderful and spirited collaborations in music. More importantly, beyond his talent in music, he is fondly remembered by all for his soft-spoken nature, generosity in spirit, artistic comradery, humility and sincerity.

This news has come as a devastating shock to many of us, and most of all to his family members. He has left behind his wife and two young daughters, who are currently studying in the 4th grade and 1st grade. We, the members of the musical community, appeal to you to support them in this time of need by donating. The funds raised will be used to provide for the children's education and well-being.
