On March 3rd Karolina is going for an intensive reconstructive surgery on both her hips. After the 9-hour surgery she will be recuperating at Sick Kids for a minimum of 5 days. Once she has recovered enough and her pain is less severe, she will be moved to a rehabilitation center in Toronto to continue her recuperation for 6-8 weeks. 

As always, her parents, Agatha and Chris will be by her side which presents yet another challenge: Chris is the sole provider for their family.

After her stay in Toronto, Karolina will require the continued support of a team of specialized health care providers. The road in front of the family is long and uncertain, please keep them in your prayers.

As you can imagine, the costs associated with the surgery and lengthy recovery are expected to be immense. In order to help alleviate some of the family's stress, I'm hoping to raise some funds to help with all the expenses related to the surgery and subsequent recovery and rehabilitation.
