I come from Karnali, one of the poorest and least developed regions in Nepal. But I'm
determined to break barriers and put our region on the map. On April 21, 2023, I summited
Lobuche Peak (20,075 ft.), and now I'm aiming for the grandeur of Mount Everest in May 2024.
Inspiring Hope and Change
My journey isn't just about personal achievement; it's about inspiring and giving hope to the
people of my region. I've already visited my hometown to share my experiences and show that dreams can become a reality if we give our all. Being the first to ascend Everest from my region, I am to celebrate Nepalese climbers, challenge the dominance of Western climbers in the Everest narrative, and promote Nepalese climbers as global role models to diversify mountaineering stories.
