So this is very personal and I’m only sharing with her close friends. Each and every one of us has had a moment when Tia has stepped up and gone above and beyond for us. She makes your bachelorette party, wedding, bridal shower, baby shower, birthday, etc unforgettable. She has spent her own money, thousands, to make your day special. She does this because it is in her nature to make things spectacular. And to date, we haven’t chipped in for any of her birthday parties, wedding events, baby events etc....
As many know, Tia has always wanted to be a mother. She has dreamed of this her whole life and it is the one thing that she has been unable to do. Over the years, she has drained her bank account and cashed out her 401 k to try IVF. Not once, but twice. As luck (or bad luck) would have it... she found out three years later, that the medications she used were inactive and recalled . They robbed her of her chance at 39 yo when she went all in! She cried to me today because she feels that this is her last chance. She is turning 43 in a few months and that’s when she likely loses the opportunity to have her own biological child. She has been there for all your kids... now is the time to be there for hers. She wants desperately to try IVF again but she does not currently have the means to do so. The procedure is pricey and $10,000 doesn’t even cover it but at least it can help a third of the way. I am begging u to think of all the things she has done and the money and hours she has spent on you and consider donating or loaning some money to help her do IVF. When you give, please add a note saying GIVE or LOAN. And I personally will help pay back all loans as soon as possible.
