In January of 2023, Karli Weltzin was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer.

After the diagnosis, her and her family moved to South Carolina in March of 2024, for a fresh start. Since the move, they've made the decision to move back to Illinois as that is what is best for Karli and her health at this moment. This will allow them to be near family and to also help provide more support for the kids. Her family is in need of our assistance, as she has been unable to work due to her declining health and the out-of-pocket costs endured in this lengthy battle.

Since the diagnosis Karli has been working hard battling this disease with alternative methods. She has dedicated her life to getting healthy and educating others about the harmful effects of our environment; the food we put in our bodies; the every day chemicals we clean with; and her gut feeling about not using chemicals to cure disease due to reoccurrence rates being so high.

In October 2024, she made the decision to have a single mastectomy to remove her tumor. All went well with the surgery and she experienced a quick recovery. By the end of October, she noticed mets to her incision and pain in her hip, assuming it was from the pull of the skin graft on her back from the surgery. After two months of physical therapy, the pain has worsened and she has become very fatigued, with labs showing progression of the cancer. In just a few weeks, her health has spiraled very quickly.

The Weltzin family is beginning their journey back home as we speak. Once Karli is back in Illinois she will seek immediate medical attention.
