Our dear friend, Karla Yessenia Gramajo Cabrera, was the victim of an unimaginable act of violence. What began as a distressing disappearance ended in a devastating tragedy: she was murdered by her partner, leaving behind her four children, ages 17 to 5, who are now facing an irreparable loss.

Karla was not only a loving mother, but also a hardworking, kind, and vibrant woman. Her greatest pride was her children, for whom she fought every single day.

In this incredibly difficult time, her family needs support to cover funeral expenses and to repatriate her body to her home country, where her loved ones can give her the farewell she deserves. The total cost amounts to $18,000, an impossible burden to bear in the midst of such pain.
