Karla was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer (Stage 3) on August 4th of this year. Since the diagnosis and before, Karla has been blessed with diligent doctors who have worked as a team to provide the best treatment possible. She also has a wonderful supportive family and friends who have helped and prayed for her during this battle. The treatment and prayers have been working. The tumors have decreased in size! In January, Karla will have the first of several surgeries to remove her breasts and most of the remaining cancer. She will also undergo radiation to get rid of any remaining cancer cells for good!!! Karla has kept her spirits high through this tough journey by trusting in God and through prayer, love, and the care of her family and friends. Even after her diagnosis, Karla was determined to continue working as a Kindergarten teacher at Cedar Park Elementary, not because of needing a paycheck or insurance, but for "her babies". She has touched the lives of hundreds of students in her teaching career and this year is no exception. Now, she needs help to pay copays and medical expenses that must be paid up front before her surgery in January.  We appreciate all donatations and prayers. Thank you and God bless
