This is something that doesn’t feel right to ask, especially so close to Christmas, but I want to give my mum the send off she truly deserves.

As a family, we originally planned a very private ceremony. However, seeing just how many people loved and cared for my mum has made us realise how many lives she touched. Because of that, we would love to open the service so that everyone who wishes to attend can do so.

Whether you were a silent supporter, someone who spoke to her every now and then, or even someone who hadn’t spoken to her in a long time, it would mean so much to see you there.
