Support for the Zambon Family
Donation protected
We'd like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of you for your messages of support, gifts, and donations. If you would like to contribute something to the Zambon family to help cover on meals or funeral arrangements you can make a donation here. Thank you to all those who have already sent meal gift cards, flowers and messages. We have been spending almost everyday as a family for the past 3 weeks since Dad was admitted to hospice care and planning for meals has been the last thing on all our lists, so it is much appreciated.
Karl Zambon led a very full and adventurous life. He was a bold character always led by his spiritual intuition, even it if meant forcing his family to stand and hold hands to pray in a crowded restaurant. Karl suffered from Dementia in his last years, which is a cruel disease. He was cared for at home by his wife, Katharina, and children, Michelle, Michael, Abigail & Glori, and we don't think it was a coincidence that he passed right in the first official days of spring, a rebirth on March 21st, 2024. He was surrounded by his family as he peacefully took his last breaths.
We set the goal amount to represent the day of his passing as my Dad was always into numerology and symbols.
Special thank yous to all those who took the time to come visit him in his final weeks, those who supported my mother by bringing her meals, staying over night for moral support, and stopping by to just have a conversation.
We feel blessed that we were able to care for him at home surrounded with love and laughter.
