On September 1st, 2021, our son, brother, husband, co-worker and dear friend, Karl Perry was diagnosed with Stage III Colon Cancer. At the very young age of 36, this news was devastating to hear. Karl had been sick over most of the summer, and lost over 40 lbs., before being properly diagnosed. On September 3rd, Karl went in for surgery and treatments followed immediately, due to the stage of the cancer.

Karl is newly married and was getting ready to celebrate his second wedding anniversary to the love of his life, Lexi (Wright) Perry. Instead, they have been navigating thru this cancer journey, leaning on each other, along with family and friends.

Currently Karl is in his 3rd round of Chemotherapy. He will need 12 rounds of chemotherapy, followed by 6 weeks of daily radiation treatments. Expected length of treatment is 8 months. Karl will be out of work due to his treatment, side effects and increased risk of infection.

The stress of being out of work, sick and in treatment, and the mounting medical bills is starting to become overwhelming. We have set up this GoFundMe Page for donations, prayers and works of encouragement for this young couple that is so loved.

It is important that you know, this was not something Karl and Lexi wanted to do. When it was first proposed, they refused, because they are humble, hardworking people. Many people have asked how they could help, and ANY financial support would be GREATLY appreciated and is needed.
