On March 9th, my Dad suffered a parietal lobe stroke, affecting both his speech & mobility on the right side of his body. He has been in hospitals receiving acute & sub-acute therapies ever since. Although there have been improvements, he has a long road to recovery. At this point, we don't know when he will go home, or if he'll be able to work again.

The flare-ups & swelling of his ongoing gout issues are an everyday challenge, & he may never go back to "normal." Additionally, due to the pandemic, his ability to make ends meet through custom guitar work has slowed to a trickle. Meanwhile, medical & regular bills are piling up.
