In loving memory of Karl Foster, forever in our hearts
Karl was one in a million, the kindest and most selfless soul that we had the pleasure of knowing. Words will never do him justice, but we'd like to try and paint a picture of his life to those who never got the chance to experience his brilliance.
Anyone lucky enough to meet Karl in person will attest to his radiating love and joy. He had an effortless ability to bring a smile to the faces of everyone he met, lighting up every room he walked in. Despite the battles he fought inside his head, Karl was never without a stellar sense of humour - that beaming smile and cheeky giggle live on infamously in his memory.
Karl was selfless to a fault, forever putting others before himself and dedicating his career to supporting those in need. He had a passion for making a difference and working towards change; the imprint he has left on those he helped is nothing short of extraordinary.
Education, technology, bedroom-start up entrepreneurialism and a smidge of carpentry were just a small number of Karl's talents, skills and enthusiasms. He travelled the globe more than many of us could ever dream to, touching the hearts and lives of people in every country he visited.
Karl lived an amazing life. The love we held for him was insurmountable and 27 years was nowhere near enough. He will be missed by so many for so long.
We want to continue his legacy in the most fitting way possible, by helping others and supporting as many people as we can - exactly as Karl would have done. If you would like to make a donation in his memory we have chosen the following charities that were closest to Karl's heart:
- Friends of West Suffolk Hospital
- Epilepsy Society
- CALM - Campaign Against Living Miserably
- Inspire, Suffolk
Wherever Karl may be, we know he is at peace - almost certainly with a pint of Guinness in hand, a new pair of trainers on and sharing stories of his life with his Dad x
