Hello, my name is Kristine Torgerson. I grew up with my brother who died March 27th in the Einstein hospital in the Bronx from gangrene poisoning. He suffered an extremely abusive childhood from the age of 5 by both his father and step father. He enlisted in the Vietnam war where he served three tours as a LERP (long distance ranger). Karl lived on his social security and has no death benefits. We are three sisters trying to pool our resources. I’m a handicapped working senior and my sisters are both working seniors. My youngest sister Wendy has travelled to NY at her own expense while Karl was sick and now again to clean out his apartment. The funds we are requesting are for cremation and travel expenses so we can have his ashes and to release with them all the suffering and pain he has carried.
