Karl Bader Theatrical Arts Scholarship

A fellow classmate and friend, Karl Bader, passed away suddenly after a long and courageous battle with cancer.  Karl, a 1999 graduate of Nazareth High School, was a heavily involved in the theater department, running crew and appearing on stage for many of Nazareth's theatrical productions.  Karl carried his love of the arts and his pride for the craft with him through life as he went on to study Technical Theater- Lighting and Audio at DeSales University and made a career as an audio/video installation technician.  I know how much being a part of Nazareth’s theater program meant to Karl….. and to all of us who were lucky enough to share that experience and brief moment in time with him. 

To honor our friend, the class of 1999 would like to set up The Karl H. Bader Theatrical Arts Scholarship.  This scholarship will be awarded to  a 2020 Nazareth High School graduate who is involved in the theater program and who embodies the spirit of Karl's hard work, dedication, and love of the arts.
