Aaron and Sarah Holbrook have been life long members of the Delta community, where they still reside with their 4 children. Most know them for their happy-go-lucky, cheerful and kind dispositions. Always willing to lend a hand, if they can, to those in need.
Friday March 1st their youngest daughter, Karissa, was taken to the clinic for some abdominal pain, by the end of the day Karissa was medevaced to Anchorage. Scans and tests revealed that Karissa had nephroblastoma, a form of cancer on the kidney. Karissa had surgery Monday the 4th, to remove the stage 3 cancer, but still has a long road of recovery. Among other things, they had to remove one of Karissas kidneys and her journey to recovery is just starting.
Our hope is to provide them with some financial aid, so that they can start to navigate through this life changing event, without the added weight of bills and travel expenses. Aaron is self employed and Sarah is a stay at home wife and mother.
Even if you’re not able to contribute financially, please consider praying for little Karissa and for her healing.
