Jambo (Hello) everyone!

This September (2025), my mom and I will be traveling back to Kenya to volunteer at Family Hope Charity's local clinics! We will be traveling with a medical team of doctors, nurses, PA’s, NP’s, and ancillary staff to provide free medical care, health education and preventative screening to marginalized communities in and around Nairobi.

The majority of the patients we care for are children who are desperately just trying to survive. Not only do we medically care for these children, but your donations also help to get them shoes to go to school and ensuring they have a safe place to sleep at night. The communities we will be volunteering at desperately need basic medical supplies, access to clean water, and health education.

The patient population that we serve relies heavily on donations raised and contributed to Family Hope Charity's contingency fund. This pool of money allows us to provide long-term treatment and follow-up for patients that need it. In addition, these funds allow us to pay for children to attend school where they are able to get food and clean water. Lastly, this contingency fund is also fundamental in our ability to purchase medications, wound supplies, and equipment needed for us to effectively run our clinics.

In 2024, we traveled with a team of 20 providers and over the course of 4 days we were able to see about 2,500 patients. This year our team has multiplied, and we are traveling with almost 30 providers! With the expected increase in the number of patients we will be able to treat – it’s more important than ever that we grow our contingency fund so that we are able to help as many people as possible.

**100% of the money donated will go directly to Family Hope Charity to be used for medical care for the people of Kenya! **

To give perspective, just $60 dollars covers health insurance coverage for an entire family for one year. This includes long term care, medications, surgery, etc.

From experience, I know that any amount donated will significantly impact these communities and these innocent children. Thank you all so much for your support!
