Karing for Kassidy

We are setting up this page to help alleviate any medical expenses the Moulesong family will incur over these next couple of years as Kassidy battles t-cell acute lymphocytic leukemia. Please know any amount big or small is GREATLY appreciated.

Here are some words from Cara herself: Hello friends and family. Thank you for your prayers. We feel them. We know God is holding us and will carry us through this. Monday, March 30th, 2020 I noticed very prominent lymph nodes on both sides of Kassidy's neck. It alarmed me right away.  She didn’t have any other complaints. She was her normal, happy, giggly, singing self. I called her doc and we were seen right away. We were sent home on an antibiotic as this was thought to be a possible strep infection. April 2nd her lymph nodes were still prominent and there appeared to be more. I called her doctor back and was able to video conference with him. Blood work showed her white blood cell count was extremely elevated (84,000) as well as her blast cells (26). Everything pointed to leukemia. I felt like I couldn't breathe. This is a parents worst fear. This was confirmed as T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia when we were admitted to Lurie Children’s on Thursday, April 2, 2020.47201276_1586117339940583_r.jpeg
