Greetings my beautiful Facebook family,
My dear friend Karina Sanchez and her son, James Sanchez-Maninno, tragically lost their home to a fire recently. Karina has dedicated her career to the students of P.S. 31 & P.S. 42. She is constantly giving her all to her students. She loves every one of them and that is clear through her excitement and energy she exudes every day. You would never know the strife she is going through, by the beautiful smile she has on her face all the time.
James is a driven & determined young man, who attended Port Richmond High school. He works at Roller Jam on his free time.
They lost so much in the fire and I was hoping to fundraise to help her. Nothing was covered by insurance and they will need to start from scratch with a new home, new furniture, and new life. Any donation, big or small, will help. Attached are some pictures so that you can see with your own eyes the devastation they have faced. God bless you & thank you for being a part of this.
