For those who may not know, Karina and her husband Jay are recently married, June 12, 2015. They had created their ‘nest’ of their new home & family. Unfortunately they were awakened to the alarm of a fire in their home on Saturday 3/12/16 . Everyone was able to be safely evacuate, unfortunately 1 family dog passed and currently searching for a missing cat.

The fire started on the first floor and unfortunately spread to the remaining apartments within the home. Karina and Jay have lost everything, from the replaceable objects in the home, ranging from clothes, school books, food & essentials of living to the non-replaceable sentimental items from their wedding, pictures & most of all, their ‘nest’.


We have started this Go Fund Me account as a SURPRISE for both of them so they can get back on their feet with some assistance from the PTA family. Karina has been a Physical Therapist Assistant student for about 2 years at New England Institute of Technology, and as a classmate, she has been a part our misfit ‘family’, providing her skills as newly graduating therapist, great personality & I almost forgot, that great Mass accent.
