This 81 year young heroine, Karin Lloy, tried to save her landlord’s house by dragging a ladder in the dark to reach the roof sprinklers with the Woolsey Fire impending. She narrowly escaped, losing everything in her guest house home in Malibu Lake area. She SERVED OTHERS instead of packing more into HER car.
She moved in with her daughter... also in Malibu. The next day they had to evacuate - and her daughter's house was ALSO burned to the ground.
Anyone who knows this angel lady loves her. She is strong, funny and a beautiful Mother to all she meets.
This is a painfully urgent situation for Karin, who had no renter's insurance, and has been working multiple jobs -- at 81 years old! -- to make ends meet.
