As most of you know, I have been anxiously awaiting news on two masses in my breast. Today was the biopsy of both areas as well as marker placement for surgical locations. The larger mass showed much blood flow to it which the radiologist suspected after my first mammogram. This is most likely malignant and we will know soon (next week) more about the type, stage, etc... My surgery consultation has been set up for Dec 16 where we will make a game plan for treatment and such. This time has already been very difficult emotionally and physically. I have never felt such anxiety and it has disrupted much of my life as those closest to me know. I have three maternal relatives who lost their fight far before their lives should've been over. One of them being my Momma. With knowing how far treatment has come, I still often find myself frozen in fear. I have done my best keeping myself and my children communicating and being strong, as I will continue to do. This year, every place of employment that I had closed down due to COVID-19 and finances have been tight. I have faith that God will restore my health and carry me through to be here for many more years to come. To walk with my family, as they continue to grow into adulthood. To continue to help those around me in need. I also know that we may need help to get through some very tight times while I endure this journey. Stress is not a place for healing. It does not allow for good sleep. Being tired does not allow for positive thoughts. And then we are back to stress. I am aware that so many people that I love, are also struggling with things that do not allow for the ability to give financially. This is a cry for prayer and love as much as a cry for relief of financial burden. Some may not be comfortable contributing without a clear idea of what my treatment will look like. I understand. I have had those conversations myself. However, some of you have asked where to help and encouraged me to step out in faith to allow people to help monetarily so here I am. My medical bills are currently covered under medicaid as I was recently approved due to my inability to return to work.  This assistance would be for everyday expenses that I am unable to earn through treatment.
