Our beautiful niece is a 17 year old rockstar who is fighting her way through teenage darkness. On Monday, May 4, 2015 we almost lost this most precious gift from God! Brittany truly felt that her life was no longer worth living and that she would truly be better off in the hand's of God in heaven!
Our sister, Kari, is our family's hero! She suffers from dibilitating Fibromyalgia herself, yet, has always been a single parent and the sole support for Brittany Paige for most of her life. Kari has worked two jobs and sacrificed endlessly for her amazing daugher, the light of her life!
Our family is asking for thoughts and prayers for Kari and Brittany during this challenging time. Because Kari has to take this time off work as FMLA, she will not be receiving pay for these days. These type of challenges are difficult for any parent to endure, and as a single parent, Kari faces even more hardship.
Brittany is a smart and gifted senior. She should be attending her senior prom on Friday, May 8. She and Kari just picked up her prom dress and it hangs in their dining room. She should be graduating with her class in June and has yet to select her final graduation pictures, which she had taken weeks ago. There is so much life left for Brittany to live and enjoy.
