Kari’s Medical Expenses

Hello, my name is Simmy and I am trying to raise money for my good friend Kari and her husband, Jason. 

Kari was born with a complex congenital heart defect and has undergone four open heart surgeries in the past including many other procedures related to her heart. She and her husband will need to travel from the St. Louis Metro East to Nashville, TN for her heart & liver transplant. They have been making ends meet but with the upcoming surgery, they will need assistance with travel and lodging expenses above their normal bills.

Kari may have to be admitted before the transplants. If not she will be in the hospital up to 3 months. After that she will be going to the doctor every 4 days then it will go down to 3, 2, & 1. They will have to cover food for Jason in the hospital, and even snacks for Kari (hospital doesn't offer snacks). They will even have to wash clothes while they are in the hospital. Once Kari is done with going weekly she will be released to go home with Medication expenses until they reach there deductible. These medications are VERY expensive & they can have to pay hundreds for each medication in 1 pharmacy visit. While they are home she will have to go once a month. That visit they have expenses for at least 3 meal for each of them & hotel. Every little bit helps. Thank you all for your support and prayers.
