August 19, 2019, marks KOSD's 10 year anniversary. We are incredibly proud of all that has been achieved in the community of refugees from Burma in San Diego over the past decade and are committed to continuing this work. We invite you to make a donation in celebration of KOSD's anniversary and in support of our future programming.
KOSD is the only community-based organization in San Diego that provides culturally and linguistically targeted services and programs specifically for the community of refugees from Burma. Over the past 10 years, our community members have thrived by leveraging their resilience and KOSD's support. Many have navigated complex healthcare and school systems, learned new languages, advocated for themselves and their neighbors and integrated into a new culture, all while maintaining their own culture, values and traditions. In the past 10 years, over 300 refugees from Burma in San Diego became United States Citizens and 120 students graduated high school.
We ask that you join us in our efforts to ensure that refugees from Burma continue to thrive in San Diego by making a donation. With your support, KOSD can ensure that they have the support they need to become self-sufficient members of the San Diego community and contribute their economic abilities, talents and vibrant traditions to the community.
Thank you in advance for your support!
