Karen’s Crusaders

Our friend and neighbor, Karen Salamone, was diagnosed with Breast Cancer this summer. She has started her treatments at Sloan Kettering and will be unable to return to work as a school teacher until further notice. As a mother of four small children, Karen’s illness is a tremendous hardship on her family, leaving her husband Chris, an NYPD Detective, the only source of income. Her only wish is for her children to be taken care of while she is undergoing this medical treatment. Any donations are very much appreciated as The Salamone Family begins this journey.
