Karen’s end of life care
Donation protected
This hurts to even have to post. We wish we had more time, but it looks like we are nearing the end of our time with mom.
In October she had surgery, but in January we were met with the unexpected and heartbreaking news that not only had her cancer returned but it had already spread exponentially in a short period of time.
We will soon be faced with heartbreaking grief and the many difficult things that follow the loss of a loved one.
"Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, May looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow."

Hello everyone, this is Kandice and Kourtney, the daughters of Karen.
Recently, we found out that our mother has pancreatic cancer.
This particular cancer is known as the silent killer, but luckily they caught it in the early stages and she will be starting chemotherapy treatment, with the hope of shrinking the mass so that they can remove it.
We are not a family that ever asks for assistance, unless we are in a bit of a pickle. Not all of the medical treatment is covered and my father recently retired so unfortunately, the bills are a bit out of his control.
We understand times right now are really rough for a lot of people and do not expect anything from anyone, but we thank you tremendously if you are able to help, even if it’s keeping her in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you - Kandice, Kourtney, Pete and Karen.
