Our dear friend Karen has passed after a courageous 2+ year battle against brain cancer.  We will always love and miss her.

Education of all children has always been important to Karen. She dedicated her professional career to teaching students in elementary, middle and high school.  After college, she participated in Teach for America in Houston, Texas.  Karen was always eager to help children learn.  She was a wealth of knowledge when it came to strategies and the latest books and techniques to help her friends’ kids’ attain their educational goals.  

And, of course, Karen was most passionate about her own boys’ education.  She was their biggest fan as she urged them to reach their fullest education potential.  One of her boys is off to college, the other is in high school, and the youngest is elementary school.  All funds will exclusively be used for their college education.
