Help Karen Krug!

While vacationing in California, Karen began having extreme headaches. Just two short days later she became confused and unable to communicate. On Wednesday, October 14th she was admitted to the Nuero ICU in Roseville. While there are still a lot of unanswered questions and uncertainties, we now know that she suffered a brain aneurysm that resulted in a small stroke. The cause is still unknown.

They're not 100% sure when she'll get to leave the hospital as they need to continue monitoring her bleed to ensure it doesn't get worse and require surgery (this invasive surgery has a high chance of permanent damage). Right now her communication seems to be most affected since the blood is putting pressure on her brain in the area that controls language and communication. Her vision is also slightly off. She is beginning to show improvement, but she still has a long recovery road ahead of her.

At this point we cannot be sure when she'll return to work. Between the hospital bills, months of therapy to come, and inability to work and pay for her everyday bills, we are looking to raise money to help ease the financial burden that she is sure to endure. Anything will help!
