Karen Kraft Fund

For those of us who know Karen, we know her as a beautiful, kind, selfless and generous friend, daughter, sister, wife and mother. She is a wonderful mother to her son Cade, and loving wife to her husband Rodney. Karen is a middle school guidance counselor and is adored by all the kids at her school. Karen always has a smile on her face and a positive outlook on life. And, she must have a thousand friends who love her!

Seven years ago Karen was diagnosed with breast cancer and had a double mastectomy. She remained cancer free until this spring.  In June, she was told by her doctors that the cancer was back and had spread. Karen is battling the final stages of breast cancer, is in hospice care, and had to resign from her job last week. 

Creating extra burden, Rodney was laid off from his job last week. Always looking on the bright side, Karen and Rod feel this is a blessing because it gives Rod more time to spend with Karen, and to help with Cade. They have a strong faith and believe the Lord is guiding her along her path.

So many people have asked what they can do to help this wonderful family. Rod and Karen are very proud, but reluctantly agreed to allow us to establish this "gofundme" account. With no household income at present, we are asking for donations to help Karen and Rod pay their medical and household bills, and help with Cade’s college fund.
