Caring for Karen Klipp

Karen Klipp (Andersen) was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer in early March. About 10% to 15% of lung cancers are SCLC. The cancer is in Karen’s lungs, liver, lymph nodes and spine and is incurable. Karen has been self-employed all of her life, and only recently unable to work.
Karen will be undergoing various tests and procedures over the course of the next week in both Wisconsin Dells and Madison to determine treatment options. She has a great support system helping her through this difficult time. Karen's son Craig is local (thankfully) however her daughters Carmen and Christine reside in Colorado Springs and have taken leaves from their jobs to be with her at this time.
Friends have asked what they can do to support the family at this time and what we need MOST of all is your love, prayers and positive vibes. Monetary donations are secondary and not required but appreciated.
