Karen's Fight Against Brain Cancer
Donation protected
Karen was diagnosed with Glioblastoma, a cancerous tumor that develops in the brain. It is very rare (Fewer than 20,000 cases per year in US). Treatments can help manage the condition; however, currently, there is no known cure. There have been a few success stories utilizing experimental treatment, and the family would like your help to raise funds for Karen to receive whatever treatment will give her a fighting chance. Without the treatment, the prognosis is typically six months to one year.

Karen is a single mother of two sons, Tanner and Damien (both in their 20's). They are the love of her life, and the primary reason she is determined to fight this cancer. Damien is dependent on his mother and others for support and guidance. He was diagnosed at a very young age with autism, and the thought of leaving him is overwhelming. Tanner is an aspiring young man, and Karen would like to celebrate his future successes with him.
Karen has the support of her brothers, Rusty and Mike Foster, and their father, Robert, and stepmother, Martha Ann. The family would greatly appreciate any help that you can offer during this time. The treatments' expense will exceed $100K and will not be covered by insurance as it is still in the experimental stages. In addition to the treatment, the family will need help covering the cost of lodging, food, travel, and care for Damien. There is no gift too small to be appreciated, and the words thank you will never be adequate.
Karen will be traveling to Envita Medical Center in Scottsdale, AZ, from Houston, TX. The expected stay is initially for three months, beginning on July 19th. The need for support is immediate and urgent. If you are unable to support financially, please help Karen's family by praying and sharing with others.
Thank you, in advance, from Karen, Tanner, Damien, Rusty, Mike, Robert, and Martha Ann.
