On May 31, 2018, our dear friend and family member (for some of you), Karen Sykes passed away after a battle with stomach cancer.
As anyone who knew or met Karen knows, her daughters Alice and Georgia meant everything to her. She loved them more than anything, and wanted them to have every opportunity to chase down their dreams, whether artistic, athletic or academic.
Which leads to the purpose of this Gofundme page.
Many in our community have begun reaching out to Kevin, asking how or where they can make a donation in Karen’s name - something very much appreciated by the family. One of Karen’s final wishes was that instead of donations or flowers, contributions be made toward educational funds for the girls.
If you would like to make a contribution, please know that all funds will go directly to Kevin, who will add them to the girls’ existing RESPs.
Karen, we will all miss you, and never forget you.
