Hi My name’s Melissa & im trying to raise funds to help me & my siblings cover the costs for a headstone & memorial for my mum Karen Simms who unexpectedly passed away today 25/05/2025 from a cyst that burst sending poison all through her organs & from that it started to shut down all her organs, she was rushed to ICU where they removed 70% of her intestines & 90% of her bowel trying to get the poison/infection out of her body but the damage had already been done & we lost her less than 8hrs later. It was so unexpected & quick yet she was very sick the 3 days leading up to this i can only imagine the pain she was in trying to keep to herself,..

shes now out of pain at peace sitting on golden clouds with my baby sister who she missed dearly,.. Im a single mum of 5 & in no financial situation to help fund her funeral & or memorial so as per the request of her partner im setting this go fund me up to try help as much as I can, if that’s all I can do im going to do it, so here I am setting this up in hopes that we can all pitch in to help give my mum the best send off possible for everyone in her life to have their chances to say goodbye, Mum didnt want a funeral or a big deal made so we will just be doing a cremation & skattering her ashes with my baby sister her angel child’s (Amylee) grave that doesn’t even have a headstone yet & it’s been 9years this year witch to me is heartbreaking so this is also to try pay for a plaque for Amylees plot that will also have mums details on it too so anyone who wants to visit can & see where they are rather than sitting at a piece of grass confused if your even at the right place,, Anything will help it all adds up & means more than i can express.

My Mum has left behind a partner, 6 children & 8 grandchildren who will miss her dearly

my mum deserves to know just how much I / we loved her & all I want is to let off some balloons & butterflies while we say goodbye for the last time,, i appreciate your help even if it’s just sharing this,,
