Hi, my name is Kylie. As many of you know, my mother, Karen, recently passed away unexpectedly. I am now faced with the responsibility of handling all of her affairs and making sure she is laid to rest with dignity.

My mom was a strong, loving, and selfless woman. She had a way of making people feel welcome and cared for, and she always put others before herself. She was not only my mother but also my friend, and she leaves behind memories and love that will never be forgotten.

I live in Texas with my four children, and as a single mother, the financial burden of cremation costs and travel expenses to Wyoming has become overwhelming. My younger sister is also grieving and doing her best to support me, but with her wedding this weekend, most of the responsibility of finalizing our mother’s affairs has fallen to me. On top of everything, we recently had to make the heartbreaking decision to put down one of my mom’s beloved puppies. Her dogs were her companions and such a big part of her daily life, and having to say goodbye to one of them so soon after losing her has added even more heartache—and unexpected expense.

I am asking for help to cover the costs of her cremation, travel, and these unexpected expenses. Any amount, no matter how small, would mean the world to us and our family. If you are not able to give, sharing this fundraiser is just as appreciated.
