Queridos amigos y familiares,

Nuestra querida Karen Roxana Martínez falleció el domingo 17 de diciembre. Karen era una madre e hija maravillosa, querida por toda su familia, amigos, y comunidad, ya que tocaba las vidas de quienes la rodeaban. Desafortunadamente, Karen sufrió la rotura de un aneurisma cerebral y entró en coma poco después de la cirugía. Una semana después falleció a 29 años de edad y deja dos hijos, de 12 y 2 años.

Todos estamos devastados por la pérdida de Karen y no estábamos preparados para el alto costo de un funeral. Queremos darle a Karen el homenaje que se merece, honrar su vida, y despedirnos por última vez. La recaudación de fondos se puede encontrar aquí y le pedimos que considere donar. Cualquier cantidad realmente ayudará a nuestra familia durante este momento difícil.

Dear friends and family,

Our beloved Karen Roxana Martinez passed away on Sunday, December 17th. Karen was a wonderful mother and daughter, beloved by all her family, friends, and community as she touched the lives of those around her. Unfortunately, Karen suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm and fell into a coma shortly after her surgery. A week later she passed away at 29 years old and leaves behind two sons, 12 and 2.

We are all devastated by Karen’s loss and were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. We want to give Karen the memorial she deserves, honor her memory, and say our last goodbyes.
