Unfortunate dog bite injury

If you know Karen you know her well and how big her heart is, from rescue dogs to the unhoused people of Newport RI. She has spent her days trying to rescue people and dogs of unfortunate circumstances. UNFORTUNATELY, ON 9/2/25, Karen suffered an unfortunate injury with Nala, her rescue pitbull. Nala was previously traumatized in her past, and on this day, Karen was attempting to comfort Nala during one of her unexpected outbursts, but Nala unfortunately turned on her and Karen suffered severe injuries to her face. She has already endured emergency surgery, multiple follow up visits to RI Hospital and has been ordered out of work indefinitely. Her recovery ahead is a long one. At this time she has multiple mounting medical expenses, and financial burdens she can not take care of due to being out of work indefinitely. Her injuries were more severe than she anticipated.
