Karen Reese - Tornado Relief
Donation protected
On April 22, a tornado ripped through Onalaska, Texas. An emergency alert broadcast across phones sent my Mother-in-Law into the bathroom for safety. She barely made it into the tub before she heard something that sounded like a train. The windows of her house were blown in. Karen said it lasted no longer than a few minutes for her life to be turned upside down.
At least 5 dead as tornadoes touch down
My sister-in-law, Audrey, lives close by but was out of the path of the tornado. She braved the debris and wreckage to rescue Karen from the house.

Karen's car, and house, are a total loss. Two rooms were covered in water, glass, leaves, wood, and other refuse. On a limited income, and finite reimbursement from the insurance company, Karen has to rebuild and replace parts of her life.

Any assistance to help Karen rebuild would be greatly appreciated. Please feel free to share her story.
