Hello. My name is Beth and I’m trying to raise money for my best friend, Karen who lost everything she owns when her home in New Smyrna Beach flooded during Hurricane Ian. This girl has worked so hard to get ahead in life. She has two children and a grandchild who live with her and now they all must leave their home as it was destroyed in the storm and is currently unlivable. We spent the last 2 days throwing away furniture, beds, EVERYTHING the flood waters destroyed. She will have to rebuild and replace everything. Whatever money we can raise for her will go towards furniture, flooring, and new appliances. Karen is truly one of the kindest, most caring people that I know. She has always been there for everybody else in their times of need . Now it’s our turn to be there for her.
