Karen Luke Recovery from dog park incident

I am fundraising for my mom who was run over at magnuson dog park, and badly injured to where she can't walk without assistance or even go to the bathroom alone...this happened two sundays ago.

Mom has worked tirelessly to help molg and two sundays ago she got run over by a dog running after a ball that a guy threw at her. It hit her so hard it bruised her elbow and knocked her off her feet she fell on her tailbone and hip and bloodied both elbows and her hands...she was unable to stand.

The man propped her up, and the woman who was there with him said to mom that she shouldnt be in the park anyway as she was handicapped. Then they split...mom was unable to get their information and they did not hang around. Someone else had to help her to her car where she called for help. Luckily my brother was nearby to help with the bleeding and I rushed her to the ER at UW Hospital where she was unablento even get out of the car and had to be lifted out by two EMTs.

Mom has now been in the hospital for over a week and a half and can not even stand without help. She has a long road of recovery ahead and this will not be covered in full by medicare, shes on a super tight fixed budget, and now will need lots of additonal extra support so any help would be greatly appreciated!
