Hi there! My name is Emma, I am Karen’s youngest daughter. On the 1st of June my mom was rushed to the Dryden hospital with breathing issues. By the time she had arrived at the hospital she had gone into cardiac arrest. After 2 Rounds of CPR and having a breathing tube put it she was flown to the Thunder Bay ICU.

Mom is now stable and the breathing tube has been removed as she can breathe on her own fairly well. However it will be a long road to recovery and she will be in Thunder Bay for some time. My dad will need to stay in Thunder Bay for the next while to be with her and won’t be able to work. I am raising money for whatever he may need to stay with her during this difficult and extremely scary time.
