Hello everyone, my name is Tiffany. In March 2023 my mother went into the hospital with what her nursing home had diagnosed as pneumonia. After lots of testing they discovered that the ‘pneumonia’ was actually cancer. And it began in her pancreas but had spread to her lungs and liver as well. We were told it was spreading rapidly and it was very aggressive. She was only given 6 months to live. Unfortunately her health is rapidly declining. She is currently under hospice care.

This diagnosis was very unexpected, my mother was a fighter. She was on a ventilator with Covid for 5 days not expected to live and she did, beating the odds. In 2014 she was diagnosed with breast cancer and beat that as well. If you know us personally you know she is in a nursing home, the nursing home takes all of my mothers money except $20 a month. After her diagnosis she told me that she no longer had life insurance. She didn’t want me to know, had I known I would’ve paid for it myself. So now all these expenses are left to me. I’m in a very tight spot financially from missing work numerous times to be there for her and deal with all this medical stuff. At 26 years old I don’t know a lot about this stuff so I’m having to become educated. My mom is my whole world, she’s always been there for me and I’ve always been there for her, we’re a team. She deserved so much more in this life. I want to be able to give her the proper funeral and burial she so much deserves. She is loved by so many and has touched so many lives.
