Celebration of life: Karen Hallock

Unfortunately my wife Katherine's mother Karen has passed away. All though we are grateful she is no longer suffering and finally free from the bounds of life, it is a very hard burden to bear loosing both your parents before the age of 30 especially when you are hundreds of miles away.

Kat is the strongest most inspirational person I have ever known and thought I'm confident she has the strength to get through this lose and an incredible support group, the financial burden is something that pure strength alone cannot overcome. Though we can't take away the pain, nore can we bring anyone back this is one thing we can do to help ease the transition.

As we all know the unexpected costs that arise at the time of someones death are not only a surprise but an extra slap in the face, this cost is increased by the fact that her mother was living in Washington at the time and we will have to drive out clear her apartment and her belongings. Generally we try to be private people and I would never reach out for help but Katherine brings everyone so much joy everyday, asking nothing in return if there was ever I time to step up and show her the world cares.. this is it.
