Karen Fiorenza’s Path To Recovery

I’m the youngest daughter of my mother who has 3 other children. My Mom had an unfortunate accident on October 19th, 2019 which resulted in her needing an emergency craniectomy a few days after the incident due to traumatic brain injury. A craniectomy is when they remove your damaged skull plate to relieve pressure on the brain, and drain blood from the trauma. She was put on a ventilator, and induced into a coma for a few days. She also had dead tissue the neurosurgeon had to remove, eventually needing skin grafting to cover the wound. This is one of the hardest battles my Mom has ever had to fight in her life. She is a resilient, strong woman who has conquered so many other battles. Karen is an amazing person, and loved by so many!! My father hasn’t left her side at all since she has been hospitalized, and we’ve all been with our Mom as much as we can, and been praying for her wellness, and recovery. With humility, and sadness this fundraiser is to help my Mother out with the medical expenses, and her path to recovery. All the proceeds will go directly to her hospital expenses, and ongoing care in the rehabilitation center as-well as further care she will need. My Dad is currently overseeing her medical bills, and severely struggling. Any donation, or sharing this is truly appreciated. She has a long recovery ahead of her with many more surgeries to come. Please pray for my Mom’s recovery. God has truly answered so many of our prayers for her healing, and her restoration to as much as a normal life she can have.
