"On a wing and a prayer..."
That's how she put it. My name is Martha, and I've known Karen all my life. She's one of the most caring and loving individuals. She and I became the best of friends when we were young teenagers and have remained ever since. She and her husband Doug married this past January. Both of them are such amazing individuals who truly love each other and love God, their Father.
On May 20th, their home had an arc fire within. It's a total loss. They have been doing their best to find temporary lodging while remaining in their mobile home without electricity, using a generator to run necessities.
Cooler nights have been tolerable, but the heat is on the way. They're uncertain of how long it's going to take to gut and repair the present mobile home from floors, walls, electrical components, or find a replacement. They own their land, so ideally, it would be best to have a replacement there to call their home again. Hotels are expensive, and we all know that the purchasing of quick meals becomes costly without having a way to cook. Then there are other things that are piling up.
It's going to take a village. It's going to take the hands and feet of Jesus. They need a miracle. Along with them, I am believing that GOD can make a way when there seems to be no way.
This fundraiser is strictly for the rebuilding of their lives and their home and the losses surrounding them. This fundraiser was created by permission and used with their personal account to make it easier for the two of them to have access to for their needs.
